I am searching for a ghost named Ergood. He was in Clarion Co Pa. ca 1854 as he fathered twin daughters who were born
Jan of 1855.
I have never found a trace of this person, not on any tax list, nor census nor anything at all. Don't know his first name, don't know if he died or just abandoned his family.
By the 1860 census his wife(?) had remarried.
So if you have a man who would have been born ca 1825 to 1830 and don't know what became of him, he just could be my missing Ergood.
I do have information on the Airgood family who lived in Indiana Co Pa.. Believe that line began with a Michael who was in New York State before settling in Pa..
I can be reached at either bt99pull@alltel.net (which is down at the present) or try pull_lost@yahoo.com

Hello,
all of my info is on the message you responded to. However, I have since found out that Leah Markle-Airgood did remarry, the name escapes me at the moment. So i would assume that either Abraham died or there was a divorce, maybe because of abandonment.

I did find Abram on the 1830 census:
Pennsylvania Census, 1772-1890
1830 AREGOOD ABRAHAM Berks County PA 502 Robeson Township Federal Population Schedule PA 1830 Federal Census Index PA55845246

so maybe he wasn`t born the same time your Ergood was born, I have found Abram under several different spellings of the name. I have come across several people who may be able to help you though. If you don`t mind I will forward your message and see if they can help you.
