I believe we are talking about the same couple! Are you a descendant of John Bruzer (aka Broesder)? I believe that my husband is a descendant of Paul Broesder, John's older brother. You can reach me at pdhoward@cpinternet.com

Hello! I am a descendent of Eizoo
Broesder and Neisalena (?) Broesder who
were married in Groningan, Netherlands
around the turn of the century. They
came to the states around 1910 or earlier
and settled in the Conrad Montana area.
Some of my great aunts returned to the
Netherlands and did some geneology. I
have access to some of that info. if you
are interested. Email me at

I have a book compiled by Merlaine Woertink Davidson from Manhattan, Kansas - My grandmother Triena, was a daughter of Eisso Broesder & Trintje Kluis she was born in or near Jamestown, Missouri on August 5, 1896 and is buried in the Little Rock Cemetary.

I would be very interested in speaking, corresponding, and echanging information with you.

I would be VERY interested to hear more about or read this book that was written!

What was your grandmother's married name?

I have 8 children listed of Eisso & Trientje (de?) Kluis Broesder. Including a Trientje who married a Leonard Fischer. They are both buried at Little Rock Cemetery, which is also called Pleasant View Cemetery. I have not however, been able to locate the graves of Eisso or Trena Broesder there or anywhere in the surrounding area - yet. I believe they were supposed to be buried at Bethel Reformed, but I couldn't find them nor were they listed in the church burial records.
