Hi Bill
I was just looking at your message and I have
some information on my family that also came
from Naples, my great grandfathers name was
Luigi Salvatore Bellini from Naples, my great
grandmothers maiden name was Maria Giuseppe
they migrated to the United States in or around 1895 with my grandfather whose name
was Alfredo Carlo, and my great aunt whose
name was Olympia.
I am really interested in knowing about the
part of the family that was in Italy,my
great grandfather was married prior to my
great grandmother and had a son but I am not
sure of his name he remained in Italy after
his mother died and the father re married.
Well that's that for now.

My "Bellini's" also came from Tuscany. I don't have lots of information. My greatgrandmother was Giuseppa Bellini (she married with Pietro Mattioli).

Any help is welcomed.

I hope you are still looking for Belini relatives! We are related through you great grand fathers side.

Luigi Bellini is my great grandfather. My great grandfathef a and great uncle are children of Luigi and Gus second wife. I have seen other siblings, but I have not been able to figure out the entire family.

Here is part of our tree: Luigi and Maria had two sons: Almerico and Eugenio. They came to the USA in the 1880 - about. Almerico and his wife a lived in Brooklyn and had three children. Eugenio and Angelina Benetti, my great grandfather/mother, lived in Allentown,, PA where they had my grandmother Esther and a son Mario. They then moved to Woonsocket, Rhode Island, had Irma (Messers) and Inez (Demaris). My great grandmother Angelina, was previously married to Antonio Rubega and lived in Patterson New Jersey. She got pregnant and he became ill and moved home to Schio, Italy where he died. My grandmother brought the baby Alfredo back go the US and she quickly married Eugenio. Eugenio never formally adopted Alfredo and so Alfredo and his son go by the name Rubega. They are all from the small Northern town Schio. I know Eugenio was from Naples but don`t know much more. Would like to know more about my great, great grandfather Luigi. Email me at Grace Ferguson

I believe that you and I are related. My fathers grandmother was Guseppa. they came from northern italy, her son Salverio was born in Roccofluevione, near Ascoli Pecino on the western side across from rome. Salverio was my fathers father. my dad was Salvatore Bellini. I do remember his cousin Regis Antonini and Anthony Antonini, they were on his mothers side. Sorry it took me so many years to answer. I haven't been looking anymore. I went to italy in 2007 and did not find any relatives located in that area at all, but that doesn't mean that there arn't any left!

I'm trying again to track down these ellusive Bellinis! I will try the information you gave me. My mother says that the Bellini in our family may have come Sicily. My grandfather was a professional chef and oe Ned a big house in East Blacestone, New Jersey. However, I have not yet been able to find information about their restaurant and catering business. I don't live near Woecester, MA it PR Woonsocket, RI. apparently there are quite a few Bemkini relatives in that area, however, they have chaned the speling of their names. i'll ke EP plugging away!

My grandfather Saverio was born near Ascoli Piceno, near Tuscany. He married Desolina. He had a beauty salon in pittsburg in the 20's moved to hollywood in the 40's and did movie stars hair. His mothers name was maria giuseppe! Same as yours! My dads name was Salvatore. Maybe we are related after all. He looked sicilian to me, but my grandmother, swears that they were both northern italians! I do know that there is and was a lot of prejudice against the sicilians ( which my mother is Sacco). Anyhow, good luck on your searches.
