My mother's maiden name was Zugg and the name Mildred rings a bell - my mother grew up in Hertfordshire after her parents from east London. They moved because her father's work.
Several years ago I tried researching the family and found various connections in London's east end but was frustrated by the lack of information - especially regarding history of the name. I abandoned the search and have only just come back to it.
I apologise if I've contacted you before - I couldn't work out from the dates if I had or not.
Any information about any Zuggs would be great!
