Frank Glen Ziegler
PAYETTE-Services for Frank Glen Ziegler, 72, Payette, who died July 3, 1982 in a Council, Idaho hospital will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette, with Rev. Harvey Booth, First Baptist Church, Payette. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
He was born November 21, 1909, at Blackfoot, Idaho to Albert and Hanna Ziegler. In 1917 he moved to the Pahsimeroi Valley, Idaho where he was raised and attended schools. He married Olive Fern Cockrell, September 10, 1934 at Arco, Idaho. They ranched in the Pahsimeroi Valley, Challis and Salmon, Idaho for many years. In 1952 they moved to Payette. He received the Friend of the 4-H award in 1981.
He is survived by his wife of Payette, two sons, Franklyn O., Bellevue, Wash., Larry R., Fruitland, Idaho. Three daughters, Darlene Allison, Payette, Marilyn Snyder, Lyndon, Wash.; and Linda Sue Neill, La Grande. One brother, Fred of Salmon, Idaho; three sisters, Grace Trolin, of Post Falls, Idaho; Nada Gerdes, Payette and Lois Black of Boise; 20 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.
