Mr. Terry Doyle Yancey, 54, of Rector, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Yancey was born November 17, 1957 in Paragould, Arkansas to Alvie and Sophie Yancey. Mr. Yancey was of the Baptist faith and loved to barbecue and sit in the swing with his children. He also collected coins, baseball cards and collectible cars.
Survivors include, his mother: Sophie Yancey; one son: Lonnie Yancey of the home; one daughter: Samantha Yancey of the home; one brother: Eugene Yancey and wife Candy of Rector, Arkansas; four sisters: Gloria Brown and husband Mike of Rector, Arkansas, Charlotte Yancey and companion Skip Smith of Knob, Arkansas; Vanessa Howe and husband Charles of Rector, Arkansas and Carmin Loveless and husband Shane of Knob, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Aubrey Gail Yancey; six nephews; two nieces; and a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Yancey was preceded in death by his father: Alvie Yancey and his wife: Susan Yancey.
Funeral Services were held Friday, June 15, 2012 at Smith Chapel General Baptist Church, Boydsville, Arkansas with Rev. Ernie Rinks officiating. The family received visitors Thursday, June 14, at the church under the direction of Faith Funeral Service
