hath received from the adminstrx. his legacy in full of the estate of said decedent. July 8,
Deed Bk. 12 p. 246, July 8, 1805 Thomas YANCEY, Jr. hath received in right of
his wife Mary, the legacy in full of estate of John Parrish, dec. and Elizabeth Parrish
has relinquished her life interest and Yancey owes her $1000.

John Parish and Thomas OWEN hath received from aforesaid admx. his legacy in
full of the estate of sd. decedent as well in that part of estate which he the said
John Parrish became entitled to before the death of sd. admix. and what he might be
entitled to after her death, the admx. relinquishes her life interest .... John Parish owes her
$1000 and will pay proportional part of decedents debts. July 8, 1805
The above seems to indicate a John Parish who died about 1805 and left wife Elizabeth
And children James, Jon, Charles, Hartwell, Mary – who married Thomas Yancey, Frances who married Thomas Own, and Elizabeth who married William Wise.
