Died March 11 1887, in Otterville, MO very suddently, Brother James F Yancey, aged fifty four years. In the evnening he started from his home to walk down the street. On leaving home he was apparently as well as usual, and in less then fifteen minutes he was a corpse. He had walked, perhaps a quarter of a mile, when he dropped in the street. After persons reached him, he gasped once, and was gone. How startling. What an object lesson to us all. Teaching us to be ready, for when we know not and when we least expect, the summons may come. Brother Yancey was a member of the Otterville congregation of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He leaves a wife, son and daughter, who have our hearty sympathy in their sudden and sad bereavement.
