***Maj. Thomas Benson and his wife, Marthy Prince Benson, are my mother's ancestors. Marthy Prince was a sister to the Thomasine and Mary Prince that married the Earle sons. Their father, John Prince was married to Sarah Berry. Micajah Webb of Anderson, S.C., and Attala Co., MS, is my mother's ancestor. His mother was the sister of Jesse Stribling near Pendleton, S.C. Micajah Webb married Harriet Benson, the daughter of Thomas Benson and Marthy Prince. John Prince Benson was her brother. Also, Enoch Berry Benson of Anderson, S.C. Micajah named a son Robert Berry Webb. John B. (Benson) Webb, son of Micajah was my mother's grandfather Webb.

***I believe that I have solved the puzzle about the roots of the William W. (Preston) Pool of Greene County, AR, who was married to Mary Nutt. By 1850, Laban P. Poole and wife Litty or Letitia had migrated from South Carolina to Georgia, then Alabama, and finally Mississippi. When I started this quest, I did not antipate the line connecting with some of my family. It was just a mystery I wanted to solve for someone else.
