WALNUT - Merian Elizabeth Harrison Wilbanks, 88, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth. She was retired from Donruss Candy Company in Memphis with 23 years of service. She was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Hatchie Chapel Church in Walnut with the Rev. Jimmy Wilbanks and Bro. Carroll Talley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty F. Crum (Daniel) and Sandra M. Spencer (Harvel), both of WAlnut; six grandchildren, Danny Crum of Tupelo, and Cecilia Crum, Vanessa Price (Keith), Kimbel Crum (Mandy) Wanda Carper (Tony) and Shane Spencer (Becky), all of Walnut; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Margie Elizabeth "Betty" Hall Harrison; one brother, James Edwin Harrison; and the father of her children, Autry Wilbanks.
Pallbearers will be Danny Crum, Kimbel Crum, Shane Spencer, Tony Carper, Keith Price, Adam Carper, Joshua Carper, Noah Carper and Jonathan Spencer.
Visitation will continue at the church until service time today.
