Surnames: Green, Steel, Steele, Watson
In researching a possible progenitor, I'm trying to link to:
Matthew Watson, b. 1675, Colrain, Ulster, Ireland; d. 1720, Leicester, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
Per my Clark-Elmer Ancestry tree, he would be my 6th great-grandfather. FYI, I've Not done a DNA test.

Specifically, interested in two of his children 5 & 6, who are in the book, but who do not have any descendants listed below:
5. Robert Watson. No record.
6. William Watson. No record.
"History and genealogy of the Watson family, descendants of Matthew Watson, who came to America in 1718"

My [known] direct ancestor is John Watson b. 1772, Coleraine, Franklin, Massachusetts, United States; d. 29 March 1862, Colrain, Franklin, MA. John Watson & Mary "Polly" Green had a daughter Minerva, who m. John Steele.

Does anyone have anything further on # 5 & 6 above?
Thanks, Sue
