TUCK, Cary m. 1 April, 1790, Nancy Stannley. Halifax Co., Mar. Record (I have 29 Mar 1790...must be the Bond day and 1 April the wedding day "Marriages of Some Virginia Residents" 1607-1800 Series I Vol 7.

CARY TUCK-3 (EDWARD TUCK-2; BENNETT TUCK-1) was born between 1760 and 1770 in Halifax County, Virginia, according to the U.S. Census of 1820. He was married in that county by the Rev. James Watkins on 29 March 1790 to Nancy Stanley, daughter of John and Silldra Stanley, who was born in 1771.

In 1817, with his family he moved to Blount County, Tennessee, near the town of Old Union. Eighteen years later he moved to Lincoln County, Mo., where he died 19 February 1836. His son Joseph having established himself in Polk County, Mo., Cary's wife, Nancy Tuck, joined him there in 1838. She died 15 Dec. 1855 and was buried in the family plot in Brighton, Mo.
