Hi Cosmina. David Hughes(British Chronicles Volume 2) says there is a male line of descent from Vlad "Tepes" which survives till today. It goes like this: VLADIV"Tepes"[m.1st wife],his son MIHNEA I"cel Rau"(d.1510)[m.Smaranda Szapolya],his son,MIRCEA III(d.1521)[m.Despina of Moldavia],his younger son PETRU III"Schiopul"(d.1594)[m.(3)Maria Gronitz],his son,MIRCEA V(d.1640)[m.Erzebet of Hungary],his son Bogdan "Tsepes"(d.1654)[m.Katolin Racoczy],his son Bogdan Tsepes(d.1672)[m.Ilona Apafi],his son RADU XV(r.1688-89,1699)[m.Anna],his son VLAD IX/X(r.1724)[m.Maria of Arolash],his son Mircea Tsepes(d.1750)[m.(2)Gavrila Radescu],his son Mihnea Tsepes(d.1778)[m.Maria Tsamblac],his son Alexandru Tsepes(d.1811)[m.Elena Moruzi],his son Petru Tsepes(d.1845)[m.Vera Cuza de Vijez],his son Arkady Tsepes(d.1845?)[m.Mary Windham],his son Stefan Georghe Tsepes[m.Ladyell Macasa Hintryll?],three children Petru(b.1880)Mircea(b.1882)Elena(b.1884).These children would most likely have died between 1950 and 1960. Your mother might be Elena, or one of these is your grandparent? Petru Tsepes had 2 brothers Alexandru(d.1850)and Radu(d.1855).Arkady Tsepes had several siblings Stefan,Ioan,Vlad,Georghe,Zsuzsanna. You might be descended from any of these.
