EX-MAYOR OF BEVERLY HILLS DIES AT 58
Atty. David Tannenbaum, 58, City Councilman and former Mayor of Beverly Hills, died at his home, 971 Alpine Drive, following a cerebral hemorrhage yesterday.
He was a leading figure in Southland civic affairs and was named Beverly Hills Man of the Year in 1953 and 1954 by Emanuel Temple and the city’s Chamber of Commerce.
Tannenbaum had served on the Beverly Hills City Council since 1952 and served as Mayor until last June.
He leaves his wife, Ruth and three children, Thomas; Mrs. Carol Weil and Mrs. Susan Graf.
Funeral services will be held Monday at Wilshire Blvd. Temple under direction of Malinow and Simons Mortuary.
