I believe Walter's brother or Son or just a close kin, Lynn M. Stone of 128 Haller Ave., East Alton was a yardmaster of the New York Central Railroad. He died in a fatal injury in East St. Louis. Believe this Lynn may have been born in Staunton, June 24, 1915 and son of Walter Stone (of Louisiana?) and Alma Stone Eyer of Staunton. Lynn's wife was Ruth Keys Stone and he had a daughter Diana Lynn Stone of Meadowbrook. I believe Walter Lynn Stone also had a nephew named Eldon M. Stone. I believe Walter Lynn Stone was born June 5, 1898 (I thought he was born in Illinois but maybe upstate NY?), he served in the Navy during WWII, recieved his legal training at the U. of Tenn. and later died in Birmingham, Alabama January 15, 1965. He worked as an investigator for the US Labour Department before his retirement. I am his step-son and his wife (my mother) died May 3, 2001, and I am attempting to find close kin as I have some pictures and things that "Stonie's" family might like to have.
