Joshua Burrough in California, nephew of Stanley (the OP) looking to finish where my uncle started. I've sent an email to Mrbgs, hoping to find more information. Any help appreciated.

Here's what I've learned: My great great grandfather, Boney Starks (understood to be William "Boney" Starks) had a son Marion, who's son Tunney Starks (born in Broken Arrow, OK) was my grandfather. Marion also had a brother, believed to be Ernest Starks.

There is also some connection to Clide and Earnest Childers, also of Tulsa/Broken Arrow though they may have come from Texas.

I'm currently gathering more information from my uncle Steven, brother to Stanley (the OP) and from my mother Sharon, who tells me she has birth certificates for Tunney, Marion and Ernest Starks. She believes she may also have medical records that name my grandfather Tunney as "Tooksie" which she believes was a Muscogee word for 'Vomit' - a condition he had as a baby that somehow made it onto 'Infant Starks' record. We found it quite funny, my grandfather was a serious sort of man.

I'll post again with any new information, if you have information to share I'd greatly appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Joshua
