I could br wrong about the generations, for I did not go to my family tree to look it up. Just know that there were St. Andres in Michigan and in Utah, Louisiana, and some New England States.
There are a lot of persons raised in the St. Andre orphanage in New England that adopted the St. Andre name since they had no last name and so we have St. Andres all over the U.S.
Again, if you wish, I would be glad to send you what I have as I am sure there is a relationship between our families. There was only one Pierre Botquin dit St. Andre listed in all the registery of regiments that went to Canada. He was a soldier, as was a host of the St. Andre clan.
I have a Charles that was born to Pierre and Marie Loiseau in 1703 in Boucherville. Quebec, Canada. The next Charles I have listed was married to Marie V. Payette and they had a son listed as Charles Botquin. That Charles evidently married Marie Chalut and they had a child named Francoise Botquin St. Andre. That ended generation 5 in my book.
As I say I am not too good at this thing (genealogy, but our son is and this tree is fairly good.
If this will help, I'm glad. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you.
