Robert Dewey Speake and Lillian Stanard Speake, had three children Ann Speake Dillard, who has two daughters, Teresa, and Kathryn. John Speake who is married to Hope (Ruby) Riveria Speake they have two children Roger and a daughter Tammy, Tammy is married to Roger Allan Norman and has a daughter Pamela Diane Speake. They also had Robert Speake the youngest of their children, who married Jannette Speake, they have two children Keith and Jana. On the search that I found on Robert Dewey Speake it only showed Robert Speake being born to Robert Dewey Speake. I just wanted everyone to know that their are other children and grandchildren born to my grandparents. Both Robert who was known to his closets friends as Dewey, and Lillian were the best grandparents in the world. They lived a very rich life with one another, enjoying life and their grandchildren to the fullest. They have both been very much missed by their kids and grandkids and I only hope that some day my daughter and niece and nephews will look up their family history and find this note so they too can know about Their great grandparents, and know them the way I knew them. My grandfather retired from the Rock Island Railroad and my Grandmother worked in a Doctors office in Bowie Texas. They are both buried there along side of Grandpa's parents. My Grandfather loved to build things with his hands and loved being outside where he always felt closer to God.

My Uncle Robert passed away last year and he too has been dearly missed. We don't have family reunions, but it isn't because we don't love one another, it is because of our busy lives. If you ever learn anything in life make sure that it is to stop and smell the roses. Remember to always be kind to your neighbors and to help them out. My grandparents used to have a homeless man sleep at the end of thier pasture and my grandfather would take him cornbread and beans when grandma fixed them, he also gave the garbage men new gloves for Christmas, he always did some kind of act of kindness towards his fellow Americans. I don't think my grandfather ever met a stranger. Well I hope this helps all that might read it to remember my grandfather and grandmother the way that I remember them.
