Genealogical enquires
Any Person or Persons of the Sarasin Family, of Basil, in Switzerland, of either sex, married or unmarried, who are residing in America, and will send in a circustantial Account of their Names, arrival, Births, Age, &c. &c. to Mr. John Shweighauser, Shopkeeper, in Second -street, at Philadelphia, it will be deemed and acknowledged as a particular Favour by an eminent Gentleman of the said Family, at Basil. Or an Account coming from any other Person to the same Purpose, if even it should be respecting Persons deceased in America, of the Sarasin Family, will be equally accepted.

I am not related to this family, I am just passing on this information, which comes from a book titled "Runaway Women, Elopements And Other Miscreant Deeds, As Advertised In The Pennsylvania Gazette - 1728 -1789. (together with a few abused wives and unfortunate children)." Compiled by Judith Ann Highley Meier. Published by Closson Press. 1993. Page 66.
