Hi Laraine,
Sorry I have not answered this post. Last year was not a good one for genealogy. At any rate, my autosomal DNA connection is with Robert J. Blais and I do connect with him on Ancestry and on GedMatch as well. He is half Quebec French, and some Irish and Danish with four lines which might have New England ancestry. One of those is the Wassons of Montgomery and Schenectady, New York. Over the last year I have done extensive DNA work on many of my lines with some good results. I also just discovered a connection with several people who have Casselman ancestors in Stone Arabia, New York.No known connection but the Seymours are a very fluid family. With Robert Blais there is a strong connection on Chromosome 3 with 20.2 cMs and 2058 SNPs, well above the confidence limits. Ancestry says 5th to 8th cousin, which is about right. You probably connect with him as well. I don't know if you have put your DNA up on but it might be good to do so. They have great tools for analysis and will most likely connect there.
