Herma Schaack, age 90,
of the Western Reserve Golden Living Center, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 5, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Erie, on November 21, 1918, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Jenny Feinberg Schaack. She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and worked for Hamot Medical Center for over 40 years. She was a member of Temple Anshe Hesed and B’rith Sholom Congregation. She was loved by all, had a smile for everyone, and was very kind and generous. She enjoyed traveling, and the Senior Centers in Erie. In addition to her parents,
she is preceded in death by a sister Florence Daniels. She is survived by a sister Jessie Rubinfield and her husband Herb of Erie; a nephew Michael Rubinfield and his wife Theresa of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two nieces Sheri Hirschberg and her husband Paul of Sarasota, Fla.
and Marlene Radov and her husband Weston of Erie;
great nieces and nephews: Nicki, Sunny, Jennifer, Matt, and Allie. Friends may attend a graveside service at CBS Cemetery at the corner of 26th St. and Asbury Road, on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rabbis John Bush and Leonard Lifshen officiating.
