I have no firm information regarding the parents of William Savage, M.D. I just can't say for sure. I have read much speculation but no proof.

The most frequently described lineage is as follows:

Descendants of Thomas Savage

1 Thomas Savage 1594 - 1627
.. +Hannah Tyng 1592 - 1641
......... 2 Thomas Savage 1622 - 1682
............. +Bridget Robinson 1662 -
.................... 3 Hamilton Savage 1700 - 1785
........................ +Rachel UNKNOWN 1730 -
............................... 4 William Savage 1755 - 1807
................................... +Mary Robins 1736 - 1791
............................... 4 Levin Savage 1750 - 1837
................................... +Sarah Martin 1750 - 1832

This has William Savage as being the son Hamilton Savage and the brother of Levin Savage. These two brothers were frequently living in close proximity to each other over the years.
