I'm throwing this message to the world like a bottle in to the sea, in the hopes that someone might google their grandparents' or great grandparents' names, and be able to help.

I have lost track of a substantial number of my paternal great great gradfather's siblings. The whole family was split up by sudden poverty when their father died, and as far sa I'm awre, had only limted contact with each other after the beginning of the 20th century. My only source of information to date about the recent history of our family was from my elephant-meoried great uncle, but he sadly died about ten years at a stage when I was too busy with my own children to research family history.

So here goes, I'm trying to find out about with the following people:
Albert Edward Rylance, born 1876 Hallaton Leicestershire- last known of in Croydon, married to Emily Matilda Smith. Last heard of working for a miller as a flour salesman.

Frederick Joshua Rylance, born 1880 in Heathfield Sussex, last heard of in Fulham, where he married in 1907, and possibly had a son named Frederick Charles in 1909. He probably worked in some official capacity in a workhouse or administering poor law in London.

Lydia Ethel Rylance, born 1883 in Croydon, Surrey. Last known of working in an office in 1901.

Percival Alfred Rylance, born 1886 in Sevenoaks, Kent. He died very young, in 1919 or thereabouts, and left a son also named Percival Alfred, born in 1918. He worked in some official capacity in a workhouse (possibly Master of Uttoxeter Workhouse, according to G Uncle Tom).

Victoria Alice Rylance, born 1887 in Sevenoaks. According to G Uncle Tom she married a man who ran the Coop Stores in Norwich, and whose name might have been Callender.

Ronald Victor Rylance, born 1889 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, and last known of in 1901 at King Edward's School for Destitue Boys in Witley, Surrey, training to be a musician. I have drawn a complete blank on him, sadly.

Harold F. Rylance, born 1891 but do not know exactly where. (probably south east of England). His middle name might be Fazackerly- there is a good family reason why, but again I am not sure, as I only have census information to go on. Last known of living with his mother in Lebanon Road in Croydon in 1901.

Maggie Fazackerly Rylance born 1894 in Amersham and last known of in 1901 living with her mother in Croydon (address as above). G Uncle Tom thought that she had married a Persian bank manager, or a bank manager in Persia, but I have no further information about her.

If anybody out there theinks they know anything about these people, I should be very grateful to hear it, even the smallest detail- I feel as though I'm up against a brick wall, at least until the 1911 census is released!
Eleanor Rylance
