Don
Thanks so much for replying to my plea for info on William 'Bud' Smith. I found a lot about this Smith family at the library in Ashland. The entire second floor is all genealogy 'stuff'. I am very interested in the Runyon line which comes through my mother's side of the family.
I read in your note your reply to Nancy that you were born in Hardy,Ky. I think I have a lot of relatives that probably came from that area--- The Pond Creek, Belfry, John's creek--in fact from all over Pike County.
One of my grandfather's (ggg) was Adron Runyon who supposedly gave money for a school or a church.
There is a book I would love to have written by Robert and Amos Runyon-"Runyon Genealogy".It is privately printed but I would love to know about all my Runyon relatives--my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. I think it would be a wonderful book to read--At least to me it would be!!
Thanks again for your help and would love to know more about the Runyons if you have something you would like to share.
