KILLED BY TRAIN
Greenwood S. C. . June 28 - While attempting to cross the track of the Seaboard Air Line railroad at Salak in Greenwood county this morning, the auto car of Will Rudd, a young traveling salesman of Greenwood, driving by himself, was struck by a westbound passenger train and he was instantly killed. After getting on the track, the car refused to move. Witnesses differ as to whether Rudd had gotten out of the car and it was hurled upon him or was struck directly by the locomotive.
