Jacob Ricker and Olive Wade

Classification: Query
Surnames: Ricker, Wade
From the NBGS First Familes of New Brunwick, there is a discrepancy regarding who Jacob Ricker's, born Oct 1793, father is. I'm pasting the information from the "R" chapter below. As you can see they mention Jacob as the son of Michael and then also as the son of Philip Adam Ricker. I'm hoping someone has determined definitively from which Ricker this Jacob descends. I do not have access to either of these sources at this time. Thanks for any assistance!

Regards,

Vicki
