GLENN E. REYNOLDS Age 85, of Valparaiso, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the Horton VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso. On May 2, 1919, he was born to George and Osa (Remington) Reynolds. On April 1, 1944 in Lafayette, Indiana he married Doris L. Clawson who preceded him in death. Mr. Reynolds worked as a switchman on the E. J. & E. Railroad in Gary and he owned Reynolds Plumbing and Heating. He also served in the Navy serving in Alaska and the Phillippines during World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Valparaiso. Surviving are his three children, Diane (David) Yeager of Valparaiso, Dean (Maritza) Reynolds of Florida and Dawn (Michael) Harper of Wisconsin; sister, Mabel Howell of Arizona; also surviving are grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Carpenter of Indianapolis, Kristine Yeager of Indianapolis, Indiana, Andrew, Alexa and Ariel Harper of Wisconsin and Clinton Reynolds of Florida; brother-in-law, Delmar Clawson of Lafayette, Indiana; sister-in-law, Mary Clawson of Lafayette, Indiana; cousins, David Black and Sue Garcia; special nephew, Dick (Judie) Clawson and numerous other relatives anf friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Reynolds, wife, Doris, parents, and sister, Marian Forte. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe, Valparaiso with Chaplain Susan Lahaie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice Center.
