Hope all is well with you and your family.
From the Minneapolis Journal, 1 Sep 1898: "Miss Lillian Quealy of Grand Rapids Mich., is visiting the Misses Hoy, 703 Main street NE." This address is the home of Mike Hoy and Catherine Quealy, daughter of John Quealy and Mary O'Connor.
Lillian Quealy was a school teacher in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She died on 28 Mar 1910 in Michigan.
Her parents were born in County Clare and she and her siblings were born in Michigan. Records are for "Quealy" and "Qualey" - not sure which spelling the family eventually used. Using only internet sources, this is her family:
Timothy Quealy (Sept 1830 - 18 Jul 1907) and
Mary O'Donnell (Feb 1831 - 28 Mar 1910)
William J (Dec 1853)
John S (abt 1855)
Margaret M (1857)
Timothy A (Jan 1861)
Mary b (1862)
Elizabeth (abt 1868)
Lillian E (Feb 1869)
Anna L (26 Mar 1871)
What is the connection between the Michigan and Minnesota Quealy families?
