This is my mother, one of 7 children that survived infancy in Jersey Shore PA. The children were placed in separate foster care homes around 1950. Her father was Frank, military records in my possession show he served in the US military under surnames Snyder & Pringle. I believe He was born in early 1890s in Nova Scotia, Canada & passed around 1954 in PA. Irene is listed as his wife on the 1940 census; the children were: Mary 10, Irene 8, Evelyn 6, Kathryn 5, Adeline 2, Helen 1. A boy, John was born shortly after that. These ages are correct within a plus or minus 12 months. I know that Mary had 3 children, 2 boys & 1 girl all born possibly in mid-late 1940s. Irene married & had 2 children as of 1958, I think her husband's first name was Sylvester and I believe he was in Korea in 1954 when his son was born. I don't have any idea what any of the married names are for my mother's sisters or where they ended up. Mom passed in 1988 and there were very few clues in her paperwork.
