Married ---- On Sunday, August 29th, 1886, at the residence of the brides parents, Ida, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Munger, and Mr. James Osenbaugh, all of Haven. The Independent thanks for a bountiful supply of cake, and we extend congratulations to the happy couple, and wish them a long, happy and prosperous journey through life.

Mr. and Mrs. Munger rise to remark that the boys who went to their house, Monday night, to chivares the newly married pair, behaved in a very gentlemanly manner, and did them selves credit by eating largely of the good things set before them by Mrs. M., after which they took their departure, singing, “Going Home.”

East Haven

We told you so: Mr. James Osenbaugh and Miss Munger were married at the Mt. Hope Christian church last Sunday morning by Rev. L. Hull. A large crowd of young men and boys gave them an old time chivaree Monday night. And in return received all the pies, cakes, etc. that they could possibly manage. A long life of happiness is our wish to the young couple.
