My side of the family came from Agnone, Isernia, Molise, Italy and came to Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA.

My great great great great grandmother was Eufrasia Vecchiarelli (1798-?), married to Teodoro Orlando (1796-?). As of now, I know they had 3 children. 2 daughters, Maria Raffaela Orlando (10 Jul 1825-?), Maria Domenica Orlando (21 Dec 1834-?), and my great great great grandfather, Domenico Orlando (13 Apr 1828-?).

Domenico Orlando married Rachele Ferrara (Jun 1834). Rachele was the daughter of Biase Ferrara (about 1780-?) and Mariarosa Carosella (1796-?). Domenico and Rachele had 4 kids that I know of and a 5th that I am guessing on. For the 4 knowns, they are: Maria Concetta Orlando (6 Oct 1857-?), Luigi Orlando (15 Apr 1859), Antonio Orlando (7 Oct 1864 - 1940), and my great great grandfather, Giovanni "John" Andrea Orlando (10 Nov 1853 - 11 Apr 1924). The 5th, unconfirmed, is Pietro Orlando (about 1870 - 1932). My family has been loosely in touch with his descendents and knew each other just as cousins.

Antonio Orlando (7 Oct 1864-1940), my great great grand uncle, was married to a presumed cousin, Johanna Orlando (1878 - Sep 1964). Johanna's line of Orlando's, like mine, were also from Agnone, Isernia, Molise, Italy. Johanna's father was Vincenzo Orlando (1853 - 1912) and Teodora Camperchioli (1860 - 1926). Vincenzo had a brother, Dominicangelo Orlando (1843-1900). Vincenzo and Dominicangelo's parents were Sabatino Orlando (1818-?) and Candellora Venditto(1813-?). Sabatino's parent's were Giustino Orlando (1782-1842) and Fedella Palotta (1774-1840). Giustino Orlando's father was Felice Orlando (?-1791) and M. Carmina D'Ascenza. Felice Orlando's parent's were Nicola Orlando and Domenica Pellinco. Antonio and Johanna's descendents are located in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.

Giovanni Andrea Orlando was married to Diomira D'Agnillo (1856-1944). She was the daughter of Francesco Paolo D'Agnillo (about 1826-?) and Emilia D'Agnillo (about 1826-?). I presume they were cousins. Francesco's D'Agnillo's father was Antonio D'Agnillo. Diomira had 3 siblings that I know of. They are: Carlo D'Agnillo (1851-?), Paoloantonio Gaetano D'Agnillo (1853 - ?) and Vincenzo Paolo D'Agnillo (1859-1936). D'Agnillo was later changed to Dagnillo.

Giovanni Andrea Orlando and Diomira D'Agnillo had 9 children, 7 that I know of.
Domenico Antonio Orlando (1879 - 1942) married to Mary C Romanelli (1886 - 1953)

Robert Orlando (1889 - 1983) married to Josephine Della Croce (1889-1938) and Fern (?-?)
Marietta Orlando (1891-1898)
