DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT
Antonio Orfila, a native os Spain, but one of the oldest residents of Los Angeles, died on Sunday at his home, No. 2600 East Fourth street, aged 70 years. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence, with interment at Calvary Cemetery. Three daughters survive him in this city - Mrs. A. Davoust, Mrs. M. Campusano and Mrs. C. Campbell. He also leaves one son here, J. C. Orfila, and A. Orfila, Jr., at Tucson, Ariz. Mrs. J. H. Temple, Mrs. A. Steinike, Mrs. W. E. Hutchinson, Mrs. A. Snyder and A. Davoust of L'Union Nouvelie, are all grandchildren of the deceased.
