Andy, I have William Henry Nutt, b 1800 in S.C., d. 1845, buried near the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Clay County Arkansas; m. Elizabeth Spears
b. ca: 1803 in Kentucky, d. ca: 1845. William seems to be born either in Chester or Lancaster County, SC. He is buried at one of the churches he organized north of
Gainsville, Arkansas. Elizabeth is buried beside her husband, both have no markers. pg 1 bk 1 Jefferson Co, Alabama County Records: I hereby give my consent in person
in the office of the clerk of Blount County, Alabama, for my son, William Nutt, who is under 21 to take out of this office, a marriage license to marry Elizabeth Spears
of this county, Alabama Territory. This 20th day of May, 1818. Jefferson Co had been formed from Blount County. William Henry was a well known preacher starting Mt Zion
Church of Jonesboro, AR, Big Creek, Macadonia, Lebannon, Hydrick and Salem churches in Clay, Craighead and Cross County. In 1968 there was a Rev. Robert M Nutt in Jonesboro
who had placed an historical marker commemorating Elder William H. Nutt.

building commissioner for Greene County in 1876; Robert McCown Nutt, b. June 28, 1828 in Alabama, d. March 16, 1913 buried in the Cross Roads Cemetery north of Jonesboro, AR, m. April 17, 1856
