I am researching my Noquet ancestors and have got as far as Rene Noquet and his wife Jeanne Deschamp. Their son Habrahan married Jeanne Patureau and their son Abraham married Anne Marguerite Poulain. Abraham and Anne had several children, among them Robert, who married Ann Dore. His son, also called Robert, married Mary Nials in 1809, and they too had several children. Their daughter Elizabeth married Benjamin Dodge in August 1842 - the family had by this time settled in Spitalfields in London. Benjamin later changed his name for business reasons - he was a Master Silk Weaver and Dyer. Elizabeth's daughter Maria married Edward Lister in 1863. They had 4 children, Edward, Laura Julia, Ada and Harvey. Laura married my great great grandfather, Charles Winchester Giesen in 1885 and had four children with him. Their daughter Nellie married Alfred Redfearn and their daughter Joan was my late grandmother.

Please contact me if you are also researching the Noquet family or if you are researching another line that is connected.

Many thanks.
