I relize this post is quite old... I just found this site and have been researching my husbands last name (which of course is mine now as of January His father (my father-in-law) was adopted by a wonderful family with the last name Nobel (which in turn now we r Nobel's) and after his mother past 21 years ago he has never been in contact with any family (at least in the past 12 years since I have been around)I think it is so sad.. I just thought maybe I could find out somethings on here about his adoptive family and maybe find some family members. (that are willing to put the fact my father-in-law was adopted)Ijust needed to say that due to some peoples feelings about and yes there are those out there. Is a child that is adopted really family??? Well my belief is who ever steps in and takes care of u like parents should, being there to pick u up when u fall off your bike for the first time, your first day of school, Provide all necessary needs to live like food, shelter, and love.. Thats your parent.. It does not take someone to carry u for 10 months and deliver u in a hospital to be your parent. Well my father -in-law found all of those things with the wonderful couple that adopted him and he called mom and dad. Also, my husband gained a wonderful grandmother that he will always call his favorite and tell all the wonderful stories about her with our daughter. So now that I have rambled on and on as usual.

I am trying to find anyone that could give me any information about my father-in-laws family..

My husbands would also love to find anyone that may know or may be family. After all the most important thing in life is family and as of now my father-in-law and husband have none on either side..

Names I know:

DANIEL FRED NOBEL : My father-in-law
ALFRED EDWARD NOBEL:(Married the Beauhla Fay Wartenbe) Father In Laws Father
Peter (Maybe James) Nobel: Father-in-Laws Grandfather

We know nothing before the grandfather and would love to know more. I know it would be a treat for my husband as well as my father-in-law. It is so hard to talk to our 12 yr old daughter about family history when she asks when we know nothing ourselves>>

Please if u even think that maybe u might be some relation then write and maybe we can compare my little knowledge with your knowledge and make something of it...

Thanks for reading my
