I am having an incredibly difficult time trying to find any information on by G-Grandfather. I believe he was born in November of 1890 (1920 Census says born in Kansas, lived in California). At the time, he was married to Geneva McIlvaine Robinette and they had two children, Lavon and Vernon. A couple of years after Vernon was born (1920) my G-Grandfather left. I believe he died in Gold Hill, Oregon around 1976.

Here is my problem: It is believed that when he married my G-Grandmother under the name Lloyd E Robinette, he had changed his name from McGaffey to avoid an ex-wife, although they were probably still married. The only other information I have on him is that he did work for Southern Pacific Railroad in 1917 in Beaverton, OR, according to a WW1 Draft Card. He was found on the US Census in Burbank, Caiifornia in 1920 living with his wife, Geneva, daughter and Geneva's parents, probably dodging the draft is what I think. No other information. Any information anyone has would be very much appreciated.
