I am looking for information on my Lyttle ancestors in two directions. I have copies of ship passanger lists from 3 different sources that show they arrived in Philadelphia on the ship Bark Envoy on May 18, 1850. The family included: Joseph Lyttle, 40; Sarah Lyttle, 38; Margaret Lyttle, 19; Mary Lyttle, 15; Joseph Lyttle, 9; and Esther Lyttle 7.
One source of the passanger list showed that they came from Donegal, Ireland. Another showed that they came from Donegal, Co. Donegal, Ireland. They sailed from Londonderry. I have not been able to locate any information about them in Co. Donegal.
The first I located the younger Joseph in the U.S. was in 1868 when he married my gg grandmother Eva Stewart in Oceana Co., Michigan. I haven't been able to find any info about where he was between 1850 when he arrived in the U.S. and 1868. I have been unable to locate his parents and sisters at all since they arrived.
