A tribal Genealogist researched my Benita Littlejohn in 1998.
I was told as a child that I had indian blood. Only Benita could be my link to native american
blood through her mother. I had no way to
prove this so hired a native american tribal genealogist to help me.
She never did prove the indian bloodline but she did put Benita's chart together
for me. She found Benita Littlejohn had at least 16 brothers/sisters. One of them
is listed as WILLIAM LITTLEJOHN. WM is listed on the 1900 census as 22 yr old living at
home with his parents Simon Estefana Littlejohn. His birth date shows Sept 1877 on that census.
Estefana his mother is listed as 49 yrs old/mother of 16 on 1900 Census.
Simon Littlejohn, father, listed as 54 yrs old/birth date Feb 1847 per 1900 Census
