ZELLON "ZIPPY"7 LITTLEFIELD (CLARENCE A.6, BENJAMIN5, WILLIAM OR GREEN PINCKNEY4, WILLIAM3, SOLOMON2, WILLIAM1) was born February 11, 1916 in Woodruff, South Carolina, and died October 30, 2006 in Greenville, South Carolina. She married B. P. BUCK CHEEK. He died Bef. 2006.

GREENVILLE, SC-- Mrs. Zellon Cheek met her Savior on October 30, 2006.

Born on February 11, 1916 in Woodruff, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Campbell Littlefield and the wife of the late B. P. Buck Cheek.

Mrs. Cheek was a resident of National Healthcare facility at the time of her death. She formerly resided at her home, W. Earle Street, Greenville, SC for many years.

A member of Earle Street Baptist Church, she was a devoted Christian who lived her life according to Gods teachings, always offering a helping hand and words of encouragement to all who knew her. She was devoted to her church, her family and her friends.

Surviving are two devoted sisters, Wavie Elmore, formerly of Anderson, SC, now residing at Haywood Road Estates Retirement Home, Greenville, SC, and Jeanette Smelley of Marietta, GA. Also surviving are eight nieces, Myrtice Johnson, Evelyn Harrison, Juanita Bogan, Reba Vise, Joyce Rhodes, Zaida Millhouse, Debbie Watson, and Delynn Kipping; and one nephew, Hughlyn Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Littlefield and Hugh G. Littlefield; and a niece, Euginia Littlefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Salvation Army; or to the charity of ones choice.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 11:00-11:45 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodruff.

The family will be at the home of Kenneth and Juanita Bogan and a niece and devoted caregiver for 3 years, Shyra Frisby, 314 Hunting Hollow Road, Greenville.
