Marie Waddell Littlefield, Greer

Marie Waddell Littlefield, 85, formerly of 372 Perry Road, died Nov. 16, 2000.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Oscar and Mettie Lee Duncan Neal. She was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Allen Waddell of Moncks Corner; a daughter, Shirley W. McClung of Greer; a brother, George Neal of Spartanburg; a sister, Pauline Morgan of Greer; stepchildrten, Vernon Littlefield and Evalina Littlefield, both of Walterboro; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Littlefield was predeceased by husbands, Everette Waddell and Hugh Littlefield; and also a son, Fred Waddell.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Burnsview Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Larry Padgett and the Rev. Talmadge Parris. Burial will be held at the church cemetery.

Honorary escort will be members of the Joy Club of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.

Omit flowers. Memorials may be made to Burnsview Baptist Church, 9690 Reidville Road, Greer, SC 29651.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Shirley McClung, 364 Perry Road, Greer, S.C., Burnsview Community.
