So after doing more in depth research, it seems there are a few branches of Liceaga's in different parts of the united states.
I am currently trying to find more about the ancestors that are part of the Kern County Liceaga's.
I've gotten as far as (Jose)Antonio Liceaga who was born on June 13th, 1876 Mexico in San Esteban Protomartir, Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. He married Henriqueta Gomez and they seem to have come to the United States between 1908 and 1911 as their first son was born in Mexico in 1908 but their next child was born in 1911 in New Mexico. By 1923 they were already in California and by the 1940 census had established themselves in Kern County, California. (Jose) Antonio passed on September 27th, 1948 Kern County (Arvin) California.
I have the name of his parents, but can't really find any information on the birth (or death) of his father save for one shaky mexico birth document that just lists his fathers name as Feliz (Feliciano?) Liceaga and his mother as Benita Esparsa. I for sure found a marriage record that dates the marriage as February 7th, 1870 Santa Rosalia, Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico. But that is where I hit a wall.
If anyone has any information, possibles clues or ideas on how I can get to at least one more ancestor back, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much.
