I'm still searching for relatives of my two late aunts, Antonia and Carmen Rivera Levario. They lived in Mexico all their lives and Tia Carmelita taught school for around 90 years and died at age 107 in 1997. According to family history, she was a close associate of President Carranza and wore black for the rest of her life after he died. I have a suitcase full of her documents, mostly teaching certificates and some photographs of her when she was very young...also a very impressive certificate signed by President Carranza. I believe she taught school at Sociedad Gomez Farrias(sp?) in Tizapan, where my great grandfather (Valentin Roa Vega) was a school elder or sponsor. I've heard that she and her sister were possibly conversos or crypto jews (I have an uncle, Victor Levario, who is an Orthodox Jew)...anyway, they were Presbyterians at the time of their passings.
