Harold R. Kreidler, 90,
a former resident of Irwin Street, Lock Haven, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Sycamore Manor, Williamsport.
He was born March 14, 1919, in Lock Haven, a son of Simon and Mary Myers Kreidler.
His wife, the former Margaret B. Flanigan, died July 1, 2006.
Mr. Kreidler retired from Piper Aircraft as a drafting engineer in 1982 after 40 years.
He attended Flemington United Methodist Church. He loved music and enjoyed working on his home. He also was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are one son Eric R. (Mary Jane) Kreidler of Coshocton, Ohio; two daughters, Diane K. (Dorland) Miller of Linden and Linda Kreidler of Avis; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rolland E., in 2007; four brothers; three sisters and one step-brother.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Rev. George Spencer, chaplain at Sycamore Manor, officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
