Obit notice for Betty Keeler; Warren Jr's wife.
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, Betty (Potts) Keeler, 80, Bismarck, was called home to be with our beloved Savior April 10, 2007, at a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at Church of Christ, Mandan, with the Rev. Kirk Hinnergardt officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Steele.
Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
Betty was born April 1, 1927, in Bismarck. She was the first incubator baby in the Bismarck Hospital. She was raised by Alfred and Caroline (Pinks) Potts, on the farm in the Steele area.
Betty married Warren Keeler Feb. 7, 1949, in Bismarck. Betty and Warren were married for 58 years and raised seven children, two daughters and five sons. Betty was a devoted mother, which kept her busy raising the family. She was a very strong lady, who enjoyed the simpler things in life like gardening, whether it was a flower or vegetable garden. She also enjoyed baking and canning. Betty so loved and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by five sons, Tom (Myra), Wayne (Sharon), Pat (Lillian), Miles (Connie) and Lee (LaVora), all of Bismarck; two daughters, Kathy (Randy) Movchan, South Heart, and Cindy (Ron) Rehbein, Sidney, Mont.; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Caroline Potts; her husband, Warren; her sisters, Mildred and Mary; her brother, Edward; and an infant brother.
