I descend from Johann Wilhelm Kell's brother Johann Christian Kell (1714-aft.1783). Christian stayed in Pennsylvania and probably died in York County. His son John Kell (1750-1827) and wife Catherine Culbertson are my ancestors. Johann Georg Kell (born abt. 1675), father of Johann Wilhelm and Johann Christian is believed to have come to Pennsylvania with them in 1744, and presumably died there shortly after. Johann Georg Kell's brother Georg Wilhelm Kell (1681-aft. 1740s) migrated to England in 1709 and then New York in 1710. He had a son and several daughters. It appears that this branch moved to Pennsylvania in the 1740s as well, and descendents of one of the daughters (surnamed Miracle) migrated on to North Carolina. There were also Keal descendents of the 1709 immigration that settled in Ireland. Not much is known of them, but they may descend from a brother of Georg Wilhelm Kell and Johann Georg Kell. It is a very large family. The early generations of the family are sketchy, but it appears to begin with Georg Kell residing in Rengsdorf, Germany. It seems that he had three sons; Hans Peter, Johann Wilhelm and Johannes. Hans Peter was the father of Georg Wilhelm and Johann Georg mentioned above.
