"Tina, did Joseph every move to Greenville Co, SC? I have been told that some of the
children of Mary and John Blair Bolling moved to that county. In the 1810 census I have
found apparently a widow Rebecca Bolling and her age at that time was 26-45 which
would fall into the age she would be if born as you say in 1782. She has one son 10-16
listed but no daughters. Could this be her, do you think?"
To tell you the truth I don't have that much info on Joseph other than he married Rebecca Maddox in 1796. The only child I have of that union (which doesn't mean that it's a complete list of children) is Sarah Bolling, born 1800. Sarah married J. W. Cook in 1822 and I believe they settled in Virginia because their son John Wesley Cook was born in Pittsylvania Co Va in 1828. The Cook line in Pittsylvania Co is well documented so I do know at least that that information is most likely accurate. If I happen to run into anymore info I'll try to update you. Tina
