Mrs. Alma M. Janda, 65, of 2309 Washington St., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday evening.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc. Funeral Home, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, the Rev. R. Thomas Peeters officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Janda, nee Alma Meyer, was born March 4, 1903, at Nekoosa, Wis., a daughter of the late George and Augusta Kruger Meyer. She was married Dec. 27, 1921, at Two Rivers, to Edward Janda. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 1943. For 22 years until her retirement three years ago, she was an employe of the Hamilton Mfg. Co. She was a member of St. Mark Altar Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Elaine) Peterik of Rt. 1, Mishicot; a sister, Mrs. Louis Hilgard, of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Ray J. of Wisconsin Rapids and Carl J. Meyer of Milwaukee, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday where memorial services will be at 8 p.m.
