Samantha, tho I don't believe your comment was in my direction, my mother mentioned to me of our Native American heritage in the family tho she could not recall the name!

She was very young and did not have good memory of it. However, the story told her was about her g or gg grandmother an indian squaw, working in the field, taking time to give birth and then getting back up to continue working in the fields. That story memory always stayed with her.
Makes me wonder. It would be nice to find a connection.
This would be my grandfather, Joseph E. Riley's Sept. 14, 1896-June 15, 1951.

Also Bedford Gazette Article 1951 July 17.
His mother, Agnes IMES Riley married to Alexander Riley. I've been unable to prove yet whom her parents were.
Alexander and Agnes lived in Everett, PA. I do have a photograph of him.
Joseph Earl Riley aka Earl in some census documentation, had a twin brother Edgar, he died Nov. 7, 1946.
