The information is basically the same in the booklet on Pioneer Simon Hay, by David Robert Hay, Somerset, PA, 1983. However, the booklet says that Simon was b. 18 Apr. 1742, Gerhardsbrunn. Death date was the same, bu. Reformed Ch. Cem., Berlin, Somerset, PA. There are more Hays buried in the cemetery behind the Mt. Zion / Hay Corner U. C. C. There was a Hay's Mill Post Office in the mill at one time.
Perhaps the different month of birth (March/April) was listed because of somebody's misinterpretation of the calendar conversion. All of the first month O.S. was March, even though only the last week of March was considered the new year.
It says Elisabetha Margaretha Poth was b. 7 Oct. 1742, at Scharrau, & m. 22 Apr. 1760, J. Valentine Hay.

May 1704, Anna Margaretha Kefer (15 Jan. 1685, Zeselberg [about four miles east of Gerhardsbrunn] - 15 July 1775, Gerhardsbrunn), both bu. Labach, just south of Gerhardsbrunn.
Booklet says their second child was Hans Valentin, b. 18 Jan. 1708. Perhaps the person who recorded his name misspelled it Veltin because that was close to the pronunciation. In America, the name was sometimes recorded as Felty.
