Hi Bonnie, it's only been 12 years since you posted this so you probably no longer need an answer but I think you're correct. Daniel Heath's first wife apparently died before the 1830 census and he married Nancy Tison/Tyson, in 1832. He had four children from his first marriage, in this order: Elizabeth; Thomas B., Mary "Polly Ann"; and William H. Daniel and Nancy had two children, Moses Griffin and Isaac T.

Elizabeth married Henry Johnson in Emanuel Co. in 1851 but was widowed by 1860.

Thomas married Elizabeth Tison; her maiden name come from their son's death certificate but no marriage record has been found.

Polly Ann married John Thomas in Emanuel Co. in 1853.

William H. married (1) Arsenia Brady, 1847 Emanuel; and (2) Julia Screws, 1889 Johnson Co.

Griffin and Isaac both married in Pulaski Co in 1857, to Ceney Ann Forehand and Martha Roland, respectively.

Daniel Heath died in Pulaski Co. in 1860 based on a year's support given to his widow Nancy in Oct. She and all of his children except for William were in Pulaski for that census - Isaac, his wife and daughter are all in the household of his sister Elizabeth Johnson.

All four sons fought in the war but only William survived, and both Griffin's and Isaac's widows remarried. I don't know much more about any of these lines except for my ancestor Thomas's.

The Heaths came to GA from NC. I don't know yet who Daniel's parents were or precisely when he came to GA or where these Heaths were in NC, but Daniel got headright land in Washington Co. GA in 1818. The Heaths and the Tisons seemed to move in sync a bit so it wouldn't surprise me to learn they originally came from Pitt Co NC as these Tisons did. The Heaths and Tisons were in Washington Co. then moved to Emanuel Co. Nancy (Tison) Heath's father John Tison was in Pulaski in 1860, living with daughter Mary and her husband Joseph H. Anderson (married in Emanuel in 1844).

Elizabeth, wife of Thomas, and her step-mother-in-law Nancy, wife of Daniel, were likely first cousins: Elizabeth the daughter of Noah D. Tison and Nancy the daughter of his older brother John.
